Leadership Video

We put together a leadership orientation video for the ministry leaders of the church. We wanted to help the leaders (staff and volunteers) get on the same page. I wanted to spice it up with some fun stuff (music and dancing).

Friberg's Friday Favorite

I really like this new song by Chris Tomlin. It would be a great choice for a worship night, extended prayer time, or on a Sunday morning.

Moving

Today, we officially announced that we are leaving St. Cloud. We will be moving to Lynchburg, Virginia. Brianne will be a full time professor at Liberty University in the Psychology department. I will be involved with the music and worship program at Liberty as well.

Our time in St. Cloud has been wonderful and we have learned so much. Many people have blessed us with their kindness, friendship, and support over the past 3 years and we are so blessed because of them.

I will continue to blog, put up Brian Teasers, and write about all my worship experiences. We are looking forward to great things and know that God is leading us in this new direction.

Good Reminder

Memorial Day weekend.

Many people look forward to the cooking out, playing outside, lake trips, enjoying family and friends, and officially starting summer vacation.

Marshall serves in the Marines and played drums in church yesterday. He was home for the holiday and served Westwood (his home church) by doing an outstanding job on the drums.

He came up with Pastor Dave and gave the opening greeting. His reminder on why we celebrate Memorial Day was emotional and very powerful. He was good friends with 6 Marines who died in the line of duty. If he would have stayed home, he said that he would be attending 6 different funerals or memorials in their honor. He reminded us to remember why we have Memorial Day and to remember the many people who have served and died for our country.

I am grateful for the freedoms that I have and I am thankful for people like Marshall who have the courage to stand up for my country.
