ReplyDelete2) I've watched the movie 100 times at least; my all time favorite movie - bar none. The answer is the 1919 "Black Sox" as they came to be known (the 1919 White Sox players who were caught up in the "throwing the World Series" scandal including Shoeless Joe). Shoeless Joe was found to be innocent in a court of law but still was banned from baseball. We've never had a commissioner with th4e guts to put him in the Hall of Fame where he rightly belongs.
3) One of my favorite players of all time. Kirby Puckett and he hit .339 for the year.
