Football players LOVE to celebrate when they score a touchdown. Can name the player who first started the trend? Also, can you name a recent Hall of Fame inductee that would never celebrate after he scored a touchdown?
Prize to the winner!
(thanks to Jim N. for the question!)

Homer Jones was known as the first player to spike the ball after a touchdown. I don't know does that count as a celebration?? And the Hall of Famer who would never celebrate was...I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteBarry Sanders
ReplyDeleteMatt Guevara is correct with Barry Sanders; however, Homer Jones is not the correct answer.
ReplyDeleteHint - the first touchdown DANCE happened in 1970.
Elmo Wright, Kansas City Chiefs
ReplyDeleteThat is correct! I am sure Deion Sanders GREATLY appreciated Elmo's idea...
